Jennifer Aniston (full name: Jennifer Linn Anastassakis) was born on February 11th, 1969. She lived with her greek parents in California. Both her parents were actors. When she was 9 years old, her parents got divorced.At that time she was living in New york. Jenn focused on acting at the age of 11. She attended the New York school of performing arts (known as the "FAME" school). She started in theater after she graduated in 1987. But after a while she went to California to look for better roles, but was also dissapointed at first. Her agent adviced her to loose 20-30 pounds to get the look the Formula One Racing teams demanded. But all the TV roles didn`t last more than a season.

Her next role would be the step she was always waiting for. She was originally auditioning for the role of Monica(!) on the new show FRIENDS, but after reading the part of Rachel she would have no other. The show became a over-night success. The audience seemed to connect with the characters and the chemistry that they had with each other.Jenn had now got the much desired acclaim that she had strived for. She also won the "screen actors guild award for th ebest ensemble in a comedy serie" with the rest of the cast.

Now being in the middle of "season 8" FRIENDS" is still one of the most popular tv-series around the world. In 2000 after a big battle with NBC, Jennifer and her fellow cast members negotiated a salary of $750`000 per Episode! She`s always in the headlines with things like her relation-ships or her style setting trends. In 1995, she dated counting crows member band member Adam Durwitz, before having a three year relationship with actor Tave Donovan, which ended 1998. Still in the same year a romance began between her and actor Brad Pitt. They got married july 29th, 2000 in Malibu and they`re still a happy couple!
